I booked at gilliano for 4 nights and stayed 1. The price was 75 aud per night which when I got there I found was ridiculously over-priced. The hotel was advertised as away from the hustle and bustle, which it was by about 300m. I was charged 50000 idr per kg laundry when it was available outside the hotel gate for 20,000. And was charged 90 aud for the one night after cancelling the other 3.

Clean
Very over-priced. This was a renovated "Kos" or boarding house. It was nice enough inside and I do understand "high season" rates on Gili T, but this was in excess of normal. 2.5M IDR for 3 nights - I expected much more than a very very very basic room that had a western bed and a thin TV slapped on the wall. Water pressure did not exist and walls very very thin. In my 10 years of working in Indonesia i'd expect to pay 20$ USD a night for this, not 85$ US
